Events & Forums

In Fall 2012 SBIWA will start up our forums once again with some exciting news to be released this summer when we announce a new partnership in the community.  We will continue to bring world-class experts to discuss global and national issues including the economy, media, foreign policy and security.

Each forum will feature a keynote speaker and panel members who will provide an overview of the topic area and initiate the discussion, including audience participation. Attendees could then break into smaller groups, led by experts, who will facilitate civil discourse and encourage individuals to openly share their opinions. Following these small group discussions, attendees will then reconvene at the event venue where leaders will reveal the key opinions and findings from their groups. The ultimate goal is to foster a deeper understanding of these issues and work together towards possible resolution.

Research Materials

Prior to each forum a list of research materials and discussion topics will be made available to each person registered to receive SBIWA updates, and this information will also be featured on our resource page. The purpose is to ensure that attendees have the resources to enter discussions with knowledge and the ability to participate fully in forum discussions that interest them.
